Your In Season Weekly Update - Issue #7

Hey Nativz Key Holder,

That’s a wrap for the NLC Summer Split! ☀️

With an overall record for 4-10, and a clutch win over DMG Esports on the last day of the split, we finish in 6th place. The season has definitely shown us new challenges and hurdles to overcome but we’re proud of what we, the players and our coaching staff have achieved.

What was new? 🆕

This split saw us bring in a whole new roster, filled with exciting prospects who we hope to retain within the organisation as we look forward to the Aurora Cup in a couple of months. Theo, Hybradge, Painful, Space and Baul all showed tremendous resilience this split and should be proud of everything they achieved.

Known for leading us to back to back NLC Division 2 glory & securing us our spot in Division 1, this year Demb linked back up with us for one last rodeo in the esports scene. He spoke on the split saying…

"This split has been a rollercoaster of emotions. With a new roster, there were bound to be growing pains, but I'm incredibly proud of how the team stuck together and showed improvement week by week. The final win against DMG Esports was a testament to our hard work and determination. While we didn’t achieve our ultimate goal, the experience gained this split is invaluable."

Our co-stream crew of superstars once again pulled it out the bag for another split of action covered in the Nativz way. With the full time addition of Heltic running production (and sometimes saying hi to the broadcast) alongside Zath, Lisa and Sandbag we managed to build on last split and put on an even stronger show. Looking ahead 🔭

As we look forward, we believe we learned some valuable lessons this split while also identifying some strong talent. Nothing is set in stone but we hope to retain some of our summer roster and take home a strong place in the upcoming Aurora Cup.

But do not fear, this isn’t goodbye from the Nativz Nexus News. While we will be in the off-season and have less to talk about, we’ll still drop into your inbox once a month to update you on everything we have going on 💜
